Cupro NS® is a copper alloy developed by Sağlam Metal. Cupro NS® is a nickel and silicon-based alloy designed for use in high temperature and corrosive environments. Cupro NS® material is widely used especially in power plants, chemical processing plants and petrochemical industries due to its resistance to high temperatures and resistance to corrosion. The durability of CuproNS® is ensured by the formation of a passivating oxide layer that does not corrode at high temperatures. This alloy is also ideal for high temperature resistant electrodes, heating elements and other high temperature applications.
You can find the properties of Cupro NS® (CuNi2SiCr) in the "Technical Details" tab. All mechanical and material properties of Cupro NS® (CuNi2SiCr) material are specified within this tab
Cupro NS® covers all areas of use of Cupro CB. Cupro NS® can also be used in spot welding electrodes, seam welding discs, projection and butt-welding electrodes, welding of stainless steels, brass and bronze permanent mold casting molds, plastic injection mold parts, pistons of aluminum injection molding machines, electrode holders and seam welding shafts.
