Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) is a copper alloy developed by Sağlam Metal and is used where good electrical and thermal conductivity is required with high mechanical properties.
Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) alloy is a frequently preferred material in high temperature industrial applications. It consists of a mixture of elements such as copper, nickel, silicon and chromium and has properties such as high temperature resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Thanks to these properties, Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) material is an ideal option for industrial applications as well as for electronic and electrotechnical applications. It is also used in the biomedical industry and plays an important role in the manufacture of high-quality implants, prostheses and medical devices.
You can find the material properties of Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) in the "Technical Details" tab. All mechanical and material properties of Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) material are specified within this tab
Cupro NSS® (CuNi2Si Cr) is used where good electrical and thermal conductivity combined with high mechanical properties is required. It can be used in spot and welding electrodes, seam welding discs, projection and butt-welding electrodes and welding of stainless steels. Brass and bronze permanent mold casting molds, plastic injection mold parts, aluminum injection molding machine pistons, electrode holders and seam welding shafts are other areas of use.
