1.2343 (X37CrMoV5-1) WP5 steel is a hot work tool steel that combines excellent toughness, high temperature resistance, resistance to thermal conditions, and good thermal conductivity properties. The highest level of toughness for 1.2343 (X37CrMoV5-1) material is achieved when it is produced using EFS and ESR methods. Due to its better thermal conductivity compared to 1.2344, it is particularly preferred in large aluminum injection molds and large-diameter extrusion molds.
